Great interview. It presents a useful construct for viewing the current European and International state of affairs. Unfortunately, it also reminded me of a Woody Allen quote:
“More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.”
Wonderful, like your recent and prescient FT article. We live in scary times as the views which you and I share so deeply are increasingly a minority in today's world.
